Jimmy D. Temple is a native of Charlottesville, VA, and has been serving as the lead pastor of Hillsboro Baptist Church since 2020. His first connection with the church, however, was in 2018 when he served as the minister of music. Jimmy D. has a passion for helping others cultivate a deeper knowledge and enjoyment of the Bible, for through the written Word he believes people come to know the living Word, Jesus Christ. After all, John 17:3 says, “Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent” (NIV).

Jimmy D. is grateful to be married to his college sweetheart, Megan, and is the proud father of three young children.
