Chris Erwin is a native of Pascagoula, Mississippi. He served in full-time Christian ministry for 15 years before entering the private sector in 2014. He and his wife Rita moved to central Virginia in the fall of 2020, when Chris accepted a Human Resources role at a Charlottesville-based company. He also teaches part-time for the business department at Piedmont Virginia Community College and particularly enjoys teaching college classes in their Higher Education in Prisons program.

Chris enjoys gardening and tending to his chickens when he's not enjoying a movie or show with Rita. They are the proud parents of three adult children, and they love being Papa and Mimi to their three grandchildren.

Favorite Food:  Ribeye Steak (cooked medium) with Mushrooms, Chicken Tikka Masala​​
