Children's Ministries

Hillsboro encourages children to attend the worship portion of Sunday service at 10am with their families, before being dismissed to Children’s Church. In their Children's Church class, which is located in the children’s wing, they will learn and discuss a story from the Bible, watch a related video, sing songs, and do fun crafts/games related to the story. This is provided for children ages 5 thru 5th grade. Nursery care is also available for infants up to children age 4, from the beginning to the end of the 10am service.

Along with an annual summer VBS program, Hillsboro offers other special events geared towards children and their families throughout the year. Watch the "Announcements" pagefor the next upcoming event.

Adult Ministries

The Adult Ministries program exists to help connect, grow, and equip people for real life, ministry, service, and outreach. We accomplish this through a Bible teaching, worship filled service each Sunday, a dynamic worship ministry, different mission opportunities, small group studies and fellowship gatherings.

For instance, our young men's Bible study meets Wednesday mornings at 6:30 am! For any questions, please contact Pastor Jimmy D for details.

Women's Bible Study will be meeting Tuesday mornings at 6:30 in the fellowship hall as well.

There is also our Ambassadors Ministry!

When you are a part of the Hillsboro Baptist Church family, we care about your family! Church members
and their family who are away from home due to school, military service, or missionary work, continue
to receive our support! Our Ambassadors receive prayer, packages, homemade baked goods, cards, and
encouragement of spiritual growth. If you or your family member would like to be an Ambassador, please send contact information to the HBC office at

Teenage Ministries

Hillsboro encourages teens to participate in Sunday morning worship. Sunday nights are set aside for Pause, a time where middle and high school students dive into God's Word, discovering the nature and character of God and Jesus Christ. Then pausing and discussing just how to walk in godliness and share hope with this community, each student is encouraged to ask questions and grow spiritually. Pause is focused on encouraging our youth to take a break from the hectic parts of their lives and grow together while also having fun. Pause takes place on church grounds from 5-7pm every Sunday, kicking off with dinner and fun games.

Other special student activities and events are planned throughout the year. Watch the "Announcments" page for the next upcoming event.
